Ryan Curtis, a project manager and senior structural engineer team leader at LEO A DALY in Omaha, was named one of Ten Outstanding Young Omahans (TOYO) by the Omaha Jaycees. Curtis, along with nine additional recipients, was recognized at an awards ceremony in February.

TOYO is one of the oldest young professional recognition programs in the U.S., honoring individuals between the ages of 21 and 40 for 88 years who show exemplary commitment to improving the community through selfless acts of kindness while excelling in their professional careers.

Curtis is an active member and leader for Omaha by Design, a non-profit organization dedicated to engaging, educating and advocating for excellence in people-centered urban design and policy; the University of Nebraska Architectural Engineering Industry Advisory Council; and is a past engagement chair for Omaha Young Professionals. Curtis’ work at LEO A DALY has been celebrated and award-winning, including the Omaha VA Ambulatory Care Center. Additionally, he has been featured in Modern Steel Construction and Structure Magazine. A 2006 graduate with a degree in architectural engineering, Curtis resides in Omaha with his wife, Lisa, and their five children.
