Don Johnson, a retired mechanical engineering professor, will join a team of Nebraska engineers and scientists in returning to Pearl Harbor next week to share their insights into corrosion of the wreckage of the USS Arizona.

November 21, 2016 - Ben Terry, assistant professor of mechanical and materials engineering, is part of an NSRI Nebraska team awarded a $1.3 million Air Force grant to develop microbubble technology to deliver oxygen to trauma patients whose lungs cannot function efficiently.  Full Story

The Nebraska Engineering Baja SAE team earned five top-10 finishes in four categories at the Oct. 1 Midnight Mayhem event in Louisville, Kentucky, including second- and third-place trophies for acceleration.

October 20, 2016 - Perovskite, an emerging form of solar cell, can also soak up moisture that can damage the cell. A team of University of Nebraska-Lincoln engineers has devised a way to keep those cells dry.  Full Story
