Achievements: Engineering grad student earns NASA fellowship

Jung Yul Lim, an assistant professor of mechanical and materials engineering, has received a five-year, $430,554 Faculty Early Career Development Program Award from the National Science Foundation for his research.

Microgravity team will test robotic surgery
February 19, 2014 - With work on surgical robotics happening daily at UNL’s College of Engineering, students will reach new heights— literally, 35,000 feet — to conduct research for NASA on robotic surgery for space travel.  Full Story
