March 18, 2015 - UNL engineers Florin Bobaru, professor of mechanical and materials engineering, and Ziguang Chen, postdoctoral researcher, are the first to develop a model that looks beyond the surface of corrosion to better predict its spread.  Full Story

On April 18, NASA plans to launch a RockSat-X sounding rocket that will carry an experiment designed by a team of UNL students.
March 17, 2015 - A payload containing a crystallization experiment designed by a team of UNL students is scheduled to be shot into microgravity aboard a NASA sounding rocket off on April 18 after previous launches on March 27 and 28 were postponed by weather.  Full Story
