Sierra plans to pursue a career in prosthetics design and tissue engineering and would like to further her education by receiving a Master's Degree and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering
Who/What has inspired you during your college career?
Sierra has been inspired by her father, Mario, to work hard and strive for her goals, and by Dr. Greg Bashford to pursue biomedical engineering.
The best thing about being a Husker is...
The best thing about being a Husker is finding a home away from home. Sierra admires all the friends she has made throughout her time at UNL. Being a Husker gave her the confidence to pursue her dreams in life with a wonderful support system behind her.
