As the Communications and Event Specialist for the Durham School, I lead strategic communications and coordinate signature events that support student success, faculty excellence, and industry engagement across both Lincoln and Omaha campuses. My work includes managing digital content, developing targeted marketing campaigns, promoting departmental achievements, and producing events that enhance the school’s visibility and impact.
Prior to joining the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, I worked with corporate organizations and nonprofit institutions, where I developed and implemented marketing and communication strategies aligned with organizational missions. My background includes experience in campaign planning, editorial content, public speaking, and media outreach—skills I now apply to promote the Durham School’s innovative work in architectural engineering and construction education.
I’m passionate about crafting compelling narratives, fostering meaningful relationships, and building communication strategies that drive engagement and support long-term growth. With a collaborative spirit and strategic mindset, I enjoy bringing people together to support shared goals and showcase the transformative power of engineering education.
