About Justin
I was born and raised in Gretna, NE. As a first generation student, I decided to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln because I really enjoy the size and overall atmosphere that UNL has to offer. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family. I decided to apply for the Grand Challenge Scholars Program because I saw it as an opportunity to push myself forward academically and expand my social network. The Grand Challenge I chose was engineering better medicine. This interested me because of my fascination with healthcare. Improvements in medicine will allow for people to be able to gain more knowledge and use it to positively impact the world around them. For myself to achieve this, I want to be able to apply the knowledge I know towards the development of better medicine.
