Yaoling Wang holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with a specialization in Developmental and Learning Sciences, an M.S. in Curriculum and Instructional Technology from Iowa State University, and a B.S. in Computer Science from Nanjing Normal University, China. She brings over 15 years of experience in instructional design and technology in higher education.
Prior to joining the College of Engineering at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in November 2017, Yaoling served in several roles, including instructional development specialist at Iowa State University, user services consultant and faculty project lab coordinator at Texas State University, and instructional design and development coordinator at Clarkson College. At UNL, she works as an instructional designer, partnering with faculty and staff to design and develop courses across online, face-to-face, and blended modalities. Her work focuses on implementing evidence-based teaching practices, developing effective instructional resources, and integrating innovative technologies to enhance student learning outcomes.
