In the UNL Baja team, I am the primary welder and have been welding for nearly 4 years on the team. This is a picture of me finishing up the first round of welds on the roll cage, which protects the driver in the case of an accident.

How has the PKFEA program benefited your personal, professional, or academic growth?

I have been lucky enough to make lifelong friends in this program who consistently push me to be better. The program has given me an opportunity to focus on school without the fear of what it will cost me to further my education, which I cannot be more grateful for. I have had a better experience at UNL just from being in PKFEA alone, and I hope that it will continue to help students like me.
