Sophia spent a summer working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where she had the chance to visit Gavins Point Dam in Yankton, SD, and observe daily operations inside the facility.

PKFEA has helped me pursue professional development through networking and career readiness opportunities. The scholarship allowed me to focus on my degree and internships without financial pressure. I have grown as a student, writer, researcher, employee, and engineer thanks to this program.
