My team and I earned third place at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Materials Symposium. Our project focused on evaluating the potential use of Platte River water in producing more sustainable concrete. We performed environmental water quality analyses, concrete cylinder compression tests, and investigated the broader sustainability concerns surrounding groundwater depletion across Nebraska.
