Nebraska’s economy is heavily driven by infrastructure-based companies that provide design and development work for safe and secure buildings, transportation systems, bridges, computer networks, and related physical infrastructure. Nebraska engineers perform research to develop new networks, systems, and facilities to lead innovation in our Built Environment with an emphasis on innovation use of information systems.
