Samantha Nelson


Samantha Nelson is a Biological Systems Engineering major entering her fifth year from Lincoln, Nebraska. In addition to Tau Beta Pi, she was actively involved in UNL's Panhellenic Association, Mortar Board, and her sorority, Delta Delta Delta. She is a member of the Honors Program, where she served as a Peer Mentor Leader and Student Ambassador. She works as a student worker for the Biological Systems Engineering Department. Samantha plans to apply to dental school this fall.

Vice President

Zachary Van Ede


Zachary Van Ede is a senior Chemical Engineering major from Brandon, South Dakota. In addition to Tau Beta Pi, he remains active in the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the UNL Honors Program Student Advisory Board, and Community Crops—a Lincoln nonprofit. He interns with Continental Contitech and also completed a co-op with Cargill.


Ravi Raghani


Ravi Raghani is starting his senior year in Biological Systems Engineering and is pursuing a minor in Biomedical Engineering. He loves listening to music, cooking, running, playing his guitar, brewing tea, and dancing in the shower. After obtaining his undergraduate degree from UNL he plans on getting a PhD in Biomedical Engineering.


Hannah Evans


Hannah Evans is a senior majoring in Chemical Engineering. Besides serving as secretary for Tau Beta Pi, she is the educational development chair for UNL's chapter of American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Her college career includes a co-op with Cargill Corn Milling, an internship at POET Research Center, and a tutoring role for introductory ChemE courses. She is excited for her term on TBP's exec board and to work with her fellow members to continue to make Tau Beta Pi great on our campus.

New Member Educator/Social Chair

Ethi Wilson


Ethiyal Raj Wilson (Ethi) is a senior Electrical Engineering major from Aurora, Colorado. On top of Tau Beta Pi, he is also a research assistant in the physics department, and plans to pursue semiconductor device research in grad school. Additionally, he is a part of UNL’s Air and Space Research Team working to complete engineering challenges assigned by NASA.

New Member Educator/Social Chair

Ellie Ahlquist


Ellie Ahlquist is a Biological Systems Engineering major from Omaha, NE. In addition to Tau Beta Pi, she is a member of the Society of Women Engineers and is involved in undergraduate research. She has interned at Johnson Space Center and Medtronic. After graduation, she intends to pursue a graduate degree in materials science and engineering.

Publicity Chair

Joshua Mueller


Joshua Mueller is a senior studying Chemical Engineering. He is also the Vice-President for the UNL chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He has also been involved with undergraduate research, has been a Teaching Assistant for MATLAB and the introductory chemical engineering courses, and is also a member of the UNL curling team.
