Siamak Nejati, assistant professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering at Nebraska, has received a five-year, $593,240 Faculty Early Career Development Program grant from the National Science Foundation to build on his previous research on molecular structures.

Rodney Soukup
July 07, 2021 - Rodney Soukup, former chair of the Department of Electrical Engineering, passed away at home on June 23, 2021, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 82.  Full Story

June 28, 2021 - A groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the beginning of construction for the privately funded $97 million Kiewit Hall at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln was held June 28. The event was held adjacent to the new building site at 17th and Vine streets.  Full Story

June 16, 2021 - With the help of a 3D printer at Nebraska Innovation Studio, a team of biological systems engineering students recently finished their senior capstone project by fabricating a prosthetic leg prototype for a cat missing the lower half of its left foreleg.  Full Story
