April 19, 2019 - The Senior Design Showcase, Nebraska’s premier undergraduate engineering student design event, will be held Friday, April 26, 2019 from 1-3:30 p.m. in Memorial Stadium's East Stadium Club Level, with more than 50 student teams displaying projects.  Full Story

Ece Erdogmus, professor of architectural engineering and associate director of The Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction, received the 2019 AEI Outstanding AE Educator Award.
April 11, 2019 - The Nebraska architectural engineering program won five awards at the annual AEI Conference , including Ece Erdogmus, professor of architectural engineering, being presented the AEI Outstanding AE Educator Award.  Full Story

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the College of Engineering are part of a recently announced Lincoln STEM Ecosystem aimed at fostering positive STEM interactions for students.

Michael Sealy has received a $500,000 National Science Foundation award to support his research into using 3D metal printers to create strong, dissolvable medical implants. The Nebraska construction management team won the Race to Build competition, held April 5-7 in Bristol, Tennessee. Three teams of university students compete to build houses over three days. The houses are given to veteran families in that area.
