I joined the College of Engineering in 2023 with a background that bridges both industry and education. After earning my bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Delaware and a master’s in mathematics from Penn State, I spent four years working as a systems engineer on air traffic control software. I then transitioned into education, where I spent eight years as a community college math instructor, helping students build confidence and skills in STEM.

Now as the outreach coordinator, I have the incredible opportunity to bring engineering to life for K–12 students across Nebraska. From hands-on activities and school visits to large-scale camps and community events, my work focuses on sparking curiosity and showing students all the ways engineering can shape the world around them. Whether it’s coding a robot, exploring renewable energy, or building a bridge, I love helping young learners see themselves in these fields. I also collaborate closely with educators to support STEM learning in and out of the classroom.
