Join the UNL College of Engineering
The College of Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln invites you to apply for positions at one of the nation's fastest growing engineering schools. As a Big Ten engineering college located in the midst of Silicon Prairie, we are undergoing an exciting period of significant growth and support.
The college offers diverse academic programs and conducts research in both Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska. A free shuttle
is provided between campuses and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, so students and faculty can collaborate and access resources in both cities.
Our faculty, staff and students are dedicated to enhancing the lives of every Nebraskan while solving problems of global importance. One of the college's major initiatives is our $160 million facilities project
, including two new state-of-the-art facilities and a full building renovation to transform research and engineering, computing and construction education. View more about the College of Engineering, our campuses, and our research and academic endeavors.
Faculty Candidate Statements
The UNL College of Engineering requires all faculty candidates to submit teaching and/or research statements with their application packages (depending on whether the position will involve a research and/or teaching apportionment). The College is also committed to improving diversity and inclusion within the College, having received the ASEE Diversity Recognition Program’s Bronze Award
in 2019. Consequently, all faculty candidates must also submit a diversity statement that describes their knowledge and awareness, experience and activities, and plans with respect to diversity and inclusion.
