April 16, 2018 - Students from three colleges, including business, engineering, and agricultural sciences and natural resources, spent spring break immersing themselves in production and management projects at the University of Abomey-Calavi in Cotonou, Benin.  Full Story

A team of electrical and computer engineering senior design capstone students designed an insole to monitor foot temperature in diabetes patients. The box that houses the control system and PCB sits atop the foot and is slightly longer than a AAA battery.

Clarence Waters is the first College of Engineering faculty chosen to receive the Aaron Douglas Professorship for Teaching Excellence.

Jerry Hudgins, chair and professor of electrical and computer engineering, has been selected to receive the 2018 IEES IAS Distinguished Service Award.

Santosh Pitla (center), assistant professor of biological systems engineering, assists students with a sensor-building project. Pitla is leading a new research project that will update techniques used to test tractors.

Nebraska Engineering students were part of the Nebraska Theme Park Design Group, which designed and built a new attraction - the Superhero Swing - for the Lincoln Children's Museum.
