Alumni Tailgate | College of Engineering

The annual Engineering Tailgate for alumni and friends of the college is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Kiewit Hall (1700 Vine St, Lincoln, NE) prior to the Nebraska vs. Maryland football game. The tailgate will be held three hours prior to kickoff (to be announced). There will be giveaways, a photo booth and lots of great conversation.

The cost to attend is $15 per person (for College of Engineering faculty, staff and families, cost is $5 per person). The event is free for children 10 and under.

Registration: please register in advance so we have an idea of how many people to plan for. If you prefer to pay via credit card, after registering below, click on the UNL Marketplace link in the registration form or in your confirmation response to complete that portion. Payments with a credit card must by completed by September 29. Cash or checks will be accepted at the event. Walk-in's are welcome on Saturday even without prior registration.

The college’s new $115 million Kiewit Hall opened in January 2024 to provide a premier engineering teaching and learning environment.

Enjoy Food & Drinks

There will be BBQ from Parker's Smokehouse, as well as a hosted/cash bar. Guests receive two free drinks.
