Husker fans encouraged to plan ahead to make most of game day

In advance of the season, the University of Nebraska Athletic Department is highlighting changes fans can expect at the stadium this fall and reinforcing policies implemented in recent years.

There will be noticeable changes to city streets and construction work leading into and around the stadium, which will impact traffic flow. The City of Lincoln plans to provide an update Sept. 1. Nebraska Athletics and the city will use the Waze app to show traffic changes and updates. Fans should consider downloading the app to better plan their trips to and from the stadium.

Other updates and information feature concessions, alcohol service, pre-game kickoff events, ADA accommodations and accessible parking, the new iPronto game-day shuttles, and special celebrations surrounding the home football games.
