The annual Nebraska Engineering Tailgate for alumni and friends of the college is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Kiewit Hall (1700 Vine St, Lincoln, NE) prior to the Nebraska vs. Maryland football game. The tailgate will be held three hours prior to kickoff (to be announced). There will be giveaways, a photo booth and more.
The cost to attend is $15 per person (for College of Engineering faculty, staff and families, cost is $5 per person). The event is free for children 6 and under. Once registration is open (MONDAY, AUGUST 10, 2026), you can select the UNL Marketplace link in the registration form if you plan to pre-pay using a credit card; payments with a card must by completed by September 29. Cash or checks will be accepted on the day of the event.
