Ann Williams, P.E., senior vice president and Nebraska/Iowa area operations manager for HDR Engineering, Inc., brings more than 25 years of engineering, operations and leadership experience to her work across Nebraska and Iowa. In her current role, Williams leads nearly 650 engineers and scientists who support infrastructure projects across transportation, water, power, resources, data centers and federal markets.

Since joining HDR, Williams has built a career spanning environmental engineering, client development, business operations and strategic growth. She maintains a visible presence in the Omaha and Lincoln communities through service with regional partners, civic organizations, industry groups and student-focused initiatives. Williams also serves on the City of Omaha Mayor’s Task Force for Infrastructure and Streets and is an industry partner with the college’s Peter Kiewit Engineering Academy.  Additional community involvement includes:

Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from UNL and a master’s degree in civil and construction engineering with an environmental emphasis from Iowa State University.
