Resources for Scott Campus

Students enrolled in the UNL College of Engineering degree programs on Scott Campus have numerous resources available from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). Below are some of the resources/activities students can use and/or participate in on City Campus in Lincoln.


Alternate Campus Commencement Ceremony Application
Husker and Maverick email addresses
  • You automatically have a huskers.unl.edu and a unomaha.edu email generated for you.
  • Mavlink hides huskers.unl.edu email until you go into Mavlink and edit your email address (this unhides your huskers.unl.edu email address.)
  • On the MavLINK home -> Profile -> My Information page, under email select the update button and the huskers email will be labeled "UNL Campus". (On MyRED select profile and in the email block it is labeled "UNL Campus". )
Husker Football Tickets
  • Both Scott Campus and City Campus students can buy Husker Football tickets at huskers.com/students
How to Get an NCard from UNL if your Home Campus is Scott Campus

For Graduate level students:

  1. Complete an Intercampus Application EVERY semester you are enrolled. You are a UNL Graduate Studies student and need to complete an intercampus application form every semester that you will be enrolled on the Scott Campus.  (https://www.unl.edu/gradstudies/academics/intercampus)
  2. Enroll in your classes after consulting your academic advisor.
  3. Visit the NCard Office website for current instructions for obtaining your NCard (https://ncard.unl.edu/)
  4. Pay $20 in cash to NCard office for your card fee.

For Undergraduate level students:

  1. Enroll in your classes after consulting your academic advisor.
  2. Visit the NCard Office website for current instructions for obtaining your NCard (https://ncard.unl.edu/)
  3. Pay $20 in cash to NCard office for your card fee.
Intercampus form link
  • If you want to take classes on the Lincoln campus, you can by completing an online form. Check with your advisor first to make sure your scholarships/financial aid/degree program will not be impacted negatively.
