April 26, 2024 - A research team headed by Nebraska Engineering’s Nirupam Aich has found a way to use nanomaterials to not only remove harmful "forever" chemicals targeted by new EPA regulations from water but also to effectively degrade or destroy them.  Full Story

April 19, 2024 - A team of Nebraska undergraduate architectural engineering students was selected as one of four winners at the sixth annual JUMP into STEM finals competition, held Jan. 25-26 at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Knoxville, Tennessee.  Full Story

April 16, 2024 - Christine Wittich has received a five-year NSF Faculty Early Career Development Program grant to improve the resilience of rural infrastructure and communities, particularly grain bins, in the face of natural disasters such as wind storms and earthquakes.  Full Story
